Fourth of July means patriotism, fireworks and red, white and blue, right?

For me, it also means dressing to celebrate our wonderful country: By wearing fashion that's American made.

Anthony's has been Florida's leader in women's fashion since 1895. It's a fourth-generation family business that's as American as apple pie...or, in this case, key lime pie!

Many of Anthony's exclusive (and gorgeous!) brands are proudly made in the U.S.A.

You know how I love my Kristin Crenshaw slim pants, right? My Kristins are made in the U.S.A.

Other top American made brands found at Anthony's are Sunny Leigh, Impulse and Jess and Jane.

What does that mean to you? You can look fabulous and Fourth-right in American made clothes.

I always feel good when I'm helping home-grown businesses by wearing quality clothing at good prices.

Here's what I'm wearing to my hubby Marv's famous neighborhood BBQ feast on Independence Day: I'll start with my Kristin Crenshaw "firecracker" ankle pants. They're black pants with a white firecracker pattern – you can't get more festive for the Fourth than those pants.

I'll top them with my navy-and-white "cold shoulder" top from Jess and Jane. This tunic features an extremely flattering shark-bite hem. It's a patterned top with blue-and-white stripes at the shoulder. Betsy Ross would be jealous.

I can wear the patterned top with the patterned bottoms because the top is an abstract print, almost like paint splatters, and the design in the pants is more subtle.

I'll add some red jewelry to my "Made in the U.S.A." ensemble, and I'll set off fashion fireworks.

Try showing your American colors by stopping by Anthony's, Florida's women's fashion leader.

You'll look more dandy than Yankee Doodle!

Love to show your American colors?

Val's vaca tip of the week: Visit American's oldest city!

St. Augustine was founded 450 years ago. It's one of the most interesting and historic towns in the U.S.A., and it has a Henry Flagler connection, just like the Anthony fashion stores do. Flagler developed St. Augustine as a Florida resort destination in the late 1800s before he did the same thing in Palm Beach. The Anthony brothers opened their store next to Flagler's Royal Poinciana Hotel in Palm Beach in 1895, and the fashionable family business is still going strong. My favorite Flagler site in St. Augustine is the old Ponce de Leon Hotel, now Flagler College. After you check out the breathtaking rotunda of the old hotel, go across the street and have a drink at the fabulous Casa Monica hotel. This grand hotel was once Flagler's Cordova Hotel.
